You know how sometimes you go somewhere and unexpectedly end up enjoying it so much that you end up staying longer than planned. That’s what happened in Kyiv. I came for a few days and ended up staying for several months.
It’s the people that really make the city. From talking during the day over a cup of coffee in one of the many parks to enjoying some good local beers in the bars at night.
It’s never boring.

Things To See In Kyiv




The coffee in Kyiv is excellent and there are mobile coffee vans everywhere, especially by the parks.
Easy to grab a quick cup for walking around.

There are many good street markets in Kyiv to go exploring. Many of them are by some of the best things to see in Kyiv.













Kyiv is famous for its historic churches.

The Soviet world war 2 victory and memorial.

The parks in Kyiv are a perfect place to relax in-between exploring the city.




The street art is some of the best in the world.















Kyiv has the deepest underground station in the world.

Is a great place! Just travelling Eastern Europe for a few weeks then back to Kiev…
Nice photos, Jonny! Have you been to Pechersk district? Have you seen the most awesome mansion – House with Chimeras? It’s in the area of the Administration of the President. I highly recommend, as well as the other mansions of the 19th-20th centuries in Lipki district.
