Borneo is a great place to view wildlife. You will not see the big kind of wildlife you would get in Africa, for example, as most of it is hidden away deep in the rainforests.

For people who enjoy smaller wildlife encounters it is perfect, with many species of birds and monkeys to see, and countless amounts of insects, amphibians and so on. From boats heading upriver, to walks in the jungle, sometimes it can be very hard to find them, but is a great feeling when you do.

Here is a very small collection of just some of the wildlife that has been spotted on a recent trip into Borneo.
